Starfire Energy

Starfire Energy is dedicated to developing patented technologies for synthesizing 100% green ammonia and hydrogen. Its process directly uses renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydropower to produce green ammonia. As ammonia has emerged as a prevalent hydrogen carrier, Starfire Energy has developed complementary technologies to efficiently "crack" ammonia back into hydrogen at point-of-use or regional storage facilities. Together, green ammonia and hydrogen represent one of the most critical and immediate pathways for large-scale decarbonization of the global economy.


Starfire Energy’s modular green ammonia systems, distinct from conventional technologies, adapt to direct power supply from intermittent renewable sources like wind, solar, and hydropower. The process can scale down to zero capacity factor, enabling 100% green ammonia synthesis. The company also addresses NH3 fuel utilization through its NH3 "cracking" systems, which convert NH3 into nitrogen and hydrogen. This technology enables the production of NH3+H2 mixtures optimized for combustion in diverse equipment, as well as integration with other systems to deliver low-cost, high-purity, high-pressure hydrogen for fuel cell vehicles.
