C-FR™ PRIME Electric Field Oil-Water Separation Technology
The C-FR™ PRIME water treatment system, based on OriginClear’s patented Electric Field Water Separation (EWS) technology, efficiently removes organics—including crude oil, suspended solids, and bacteria—from industrial water (such as produced water and fracturing flowback water).
The C-FR™ PRIME system achieves continuous, low-energy, chemical-free treatment of 1,000 barrels of wastewater per day. Larger systems capable of processing 10,000 barrels daily are also commercially available. This electric field oil-water separation technology operates continuously without chemicals and consumes minimal energy. Verified data shows a specific energy consumption of 5.1 kWh per thousand gallons, with the following treatment efficiencies and features:
· Turbidity removal rate up to 99.7%
· Total petroleum hydrocarbons removal rate up to 99%
· Total suspended solids removal rate up to 99%
· Bactericidal and disinfection effects without chemical additives
