Technical/Product Application Fields:

Advanced high-efficiency Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs), primarily applied in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Sustainability and Environmental Protection fields.

Technical/Product Introduction and Advantages:

Epcon Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs)

Epcon Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) represent the latest technology in Epcon's high fuel-efficiency product line. They achieve maximum VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) removal and Destruction & Removal Efficiency (DRE) while reducing air pollutant emissions far below required DRE levels. Epcon possesses extensive design and manufacturing experience in handling VOC, hydrocarbons, solvents, hazardous air pollutants, and particulate-laden processes.

Epcon Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) systems have been successfully implemented in hundreds of industrial VOC air pollution control applications since 1978. Epcon can develop unique RTO applications for customers, each program being distinctive.

Features of Epcon Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers:

Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers are used to destroy toxic particulates and volatile organic compounds emitted in industrial production processes. They typically capture heat from the exhaust stream to preheat the incoming airflow, significantly reducing operating costs.

Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer systems (RTOs) operate on thermal oxidation principles with internal heat recovery through regenerative processes. RTO operating systems utilize multiple energy recovery chambers with ceramic heat recovery media. These ceramic heat recovery media serve as the system's heat exchangers. Multiple recovery chambers employ a "swing bed" absorption principle, transferring heat between different swing beds through flow reversal. This principle utilizing ceramic stoneware is termed "regeneration".
