CERES Corporation

CERES Corporation is a remediation solutions manufacturer dedicated to providing innovative and cost-effective continuous treatment solutions for heavy metals, petroleum, and chlorinated organic contaminants. Founded by U.S. environmental engineers and geologists, CERES rejects the doomsday scare tactics or unethical sales strategies often employed by chemical suppliers, adhering instead to scientific and sustainable principles. Our goal is to deliver more than chemicals—we are a trusted partner, offering reliable testing and integrated solutions backed by robust guarantees, rapid service, and unparalleled global procurement support for projects worldwide.

Technology/Product Application Areas:

Advanced petroleum contamination treatment technologies, heavy metal remediation solutions, enhanced aerobic bioremediation, and Zero Valent Iron (ZVI) products. Primarily applied in soil remediation fields including chemical engineering, mechanical/industrial engineering, mining/metallurgy, and fuel/energy sectors.

Technology/Product Descriptions & Advantages:

1.     ABS Petroleum Remediation Solution

A 100% biodegradable blend of micronutrients and macronutrients for biostimulation and hydrocarbon bioremediation. This enhanced bioremediation product combines natural trace and macronutrient solutions to stimulate native microbial growth and accelerate biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons, oxygenated fuels, PAHs, chlorinated benzenes, and other soil/groundwater/surface water contaminants.

Advantages:

– High-purity macronutrient sources

– Complete electron acceptor suite

– More cost-effective than alternatives

– 100% soluble for higher efficacy

Applications:

– Excavation and backfill of contaminated soil

– Direct injection into groundwater zones

– In situ remediation

– Off-site plume control via reactive barriers

– Soil piling and land farming

– Treatment of petroleum spills in surface water, rivers, and marine environments.

2.     MTS Heavy Metal Treatment Solution

Engineered chemical stabilization for long-term heavy metal immobilization. MTS synthesizes advanced stabilization reagents and enhances solidification using ordinary Portland cement, leveraging decades of metal remediation expertise to tailor formulations to contamination profiles.

Advantages:

– Reduces leachable metal concentrations

– Effective for in situ soil piles and groundwater treatment

– More economical than competing products

– Soluble formulas improve field efficiency

Applications:

– On-site treatment of excavated soil (dig-and-treat reuse)

– Direct solvent injection into groundwater

– Slag and metal residue treatment

– Cement-enhanced solidification for durable results.

3.     SROx Enhanced Aerobic Bioremediation

Sustained-release oxygen chemistry to stimulate indigenous microbes, accelerating bioremediation of petroleum hydrocarbons, oxygenated fuels, and select chlorinated compounds.

Advantages:

– High-purity oxygen source

– Oxygen release sustained for up to 1 year

– Cost-competitive performance

– 200-mesh particles enable optimal ROI injection

Applications:

– Excavation and backfill of contaminated soil

– Direct groundwater zone injection

– Aerobic bioreactive walls for off-site plume control

– Oxygen-releasing suspensions in groundwater wells.

4.     ZVI (Zero Valent Iron)

High-quality, high-purity iron powder and granular products for water treatment, permeable reactive barriers (PRBs), and soil remediation. With 25 years of ZVI production expertise, CERES uses 100% residue-free iron (>92% Fe, minimal carbon/impurities) from certified OEM partners. Proprietary milling technology produces 8,000 annual tons of oxide-free ZVI.

Advantages:

– Proven efficacy since the 1970s for soil piles and in situ groundwater treatment

– Cost-effective compared to alternatives

– Synergizes with MTS for mixed metal-organic plumes

Applications:

– Field-tested for PRB "funnel-and-gate" systems with direct groundwater injection of microscale particles

– Trench-based PRBs using flake-shaped granules

– Deep soil mixing

– Hydraulic fracturing applications.
